Sketchbook session: painting gloves.

As some of you know already, I have been working on my first picturebook Une histoire de gants (A story about gloves) that I write and illustrate.

The main characters in the story are… gloves. They come to life every night, when their maker leaves the shop after a hard day's work.

I am currently imagining and painting all the gloves that take part in the story. My favourite stage of the creative process is experimenting with colours and textures :)

Snowy sleepy town somewhere...

Today, I would like to share with you one of the illustrations I have made for the final storyboard of my first picturebook Une histoire de gants :)
